The award was launched by the BPW International Agriculture Standing Committee — a body within BPW International operating in partnership with the United Nations. BPW International (Business and Professional Women International) is a global organization present in over 100 countries with UN consultative status, advocating for the interests of business and professional women in economic and professional life.
